Diminishing Warranty Vs Comprehensive Warranty

What is the difference between the both, and how does that affect customer in a long term? Does the warranty provided by manufacturer is of any use or is there even a warranty that the painting contractor is actually providing for, if yes how to redeem these warranty?

Warranty for a works contract-painting contracts, though seems unusual per se, the paint manufacturer and the painting contractor seems to heavily use this point as a USP, in reality what the customer actually gets is not the warranty for the entire money paid but only for the material part of it. The customer pays for the entire contract value that includes various costs like material, labor, tools and equipments and off course margins etc. what the customer actually gets when he redeems the warranty is only the material cost. In other words the customer is eligible only for material cost of the entire contract value which is less than 40% of the contract value, so now of the 40% and the eligibility for warranty is on a diminishing basis. Warranty claim would be 100% of 40% for 1st year, 90% for 2nd year, 70% for 3rd year and keeps diminishing as the year goes on, so actually when you invoke the warranty, the warranty amount is too low in relation to what you paid, effectively nothing. The truth is painting contractor does not give you any warranty at all and paint manufacturer gives you something but not of much help.

On the other hand a comprehensive warranty means 100% of the contract value for the entire contract period. None of the painting contractors other than Paintapp provides for this. Paintapp are able to provide because, Paintapp has the largest fleet of painters and the quality of process and workmanship is simply above par.
